History:

The story of the Caisse populaire Trillium began in January, 1944, with the foundation of the Caisse Cyrville. In 1977, a new branch opened in Notre-Dame-des-Champs. In 1981, the Caisse merged with the Caisse de Rockland, founded in 1957, to create the Caisse populaire Cyrville-Rockland. In 1990, this caisse joined the Caisse populaire de Vanier, founded in 1943. The 3 merged caisses took the name Caisse populaire Trillium.

In October 2000, a 5th service centre was inaugurated at the Saint-Laurent Shopping Centre in Ottawa. One year later, the Sarsfield (founded in 1944), Clarence Creek (1943) and Carlsbad Springs (1966) caisses populaires merged with the Caisse populaire Trillium.

The most recent mergers took place in October 2003 and included the Hammond (1974) and Limoges (1942) caisse populaires. The Caisse populaire Trillium manages a business volume of 1,050,160,500 (as at December 31, 2010). It has 14 administrators, including 1 young intern administrator, and 81 employees, working in its 8 service centres.
